TLDF - The Easiest Way To DeFlicker TimeLapse

This app removes the flickers in time-lapse video. Use Aperture Priority mode of your camera to capture the whole sunset, sunrise, day to night, night to day, cloud sequence. After importing the images to this app, it will automatically de-flicker the time-lapse sequence. In addition, the de-noise feature reduces noise from the sky and other parts to generate super clean time-lapse sequence! As a bonus, this app features four blending modes that let you generate star trails and other creative effects.

Key Features:

1. Pixel level adjustment: Instead of globally changing the exposure for all the pixels by the same value, TLDF adjusts brightness of each individual pixel differently to optimize the flicker free effect for overall sequence. Therefore, most photo editing tools (Lightroom and plugins etc.) cannot achieve the same effectiveness as TLDF.

2. Noise Reduction: Pictures always have noises especially in the shadow areas. Some of the flickers are caused by the noise. TLDF's noise reduction algorithm will further reduce the flicker from time-lapse sequence and generate beautiful clean skies.

3. 16-bit Input/Output. For input that has more than 8-bit color depth including ProRes videos and 16-bit TIFF images, TLDF will automatically edit them with 16-bit color depth. If users choose ProRes video as output, TLDF outputs 10-bit videos. If users choose TIFF image as output, TLDF outputs 16-bit images.

4. Automatic Removal of Hard to Fix Frames. This version is able to detect still flickering frames after applying the de-flickering algorithm and remove them from the sequence.

This apps outputs image sequence in JPG or lossless TIFF format. For your convenience, it also generate high quality ProRes video from the de-flickered sequence. Because of our advanced algorithm, minimum human interaction is needed to generate high quality time-lapse sequence.
